Super Mat STC with Integral Weather Barrier

SuperMat-STC is a silicone-topcoat version of Super Mat with the same overall properties as the uncoated Super Mat.

The SuperMat-STC can substitute as the outer layer of an insulation system, eliminating the traditional metal or non-metal weather jacketing, resulting in significant material & labor savings.

The highest-cost components of an industrial insulation system are the metallic or the non-metallic weather jacket. The three costs associated with a traditional weather jacket are:

• The Material Cost of the Jacketing
• The Labor Cost to Fabricate the Jacketing
• The Labor Cost to Install the Jacketing.

With decades of outdoor industrial exposure under its belt, silicone is well-accepted as a robust, rain-proof, high-performing polymer with excellent resistance to ultra-violet (UV) light.

A prime example is our Lewco Super Mat facility located in Baton Rouge.  Please note the furnace is running at 600F with SuperMat as the insulation and SuperMat-STC as the jacketing
